We offer IV fluids, IV medications, sports physicals, g-tube replacement, vision screening, newborn OAE and routine hearing testing, circumcisions, tongue clipping, nebulizer treatments, pulmonary function testing, transcutaneous bilirubin testing, and ADHD, anxiety, and depression evaluation and treatment. Dr. Lauren Ford performs Nexplanon birth control implants.

Patient Visits

Patient visits at The Children's Clinic are by appointment only. Our goal is to see you on the same day or whenever is convenient for you. Visits can be scheduled by calling (936) 634-2214 and pressing 2 for schedulers. We also offer self-scheduling through our portal. Walk-ins are acccomodated as the schedule permits.

Cancellations

We understand that unexpected changes may create the need to cancel or reschedule your child’s appointment. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice of such changes. Your advance notice will allow us schedule other patients who are waiting to receive medical care. Also, patients arriving more than 15 minutes late are subject to being rescheduled for a later time or day. Repeatedly not showing up for scheduled appointments may result in dismissal from our practice.

New Patient Forms

New patient forms can be filled out at your convenience before your first visit. Please bring these forms with you along with your insurance card. A parent or legal guardian must accompany new patients to their visit.

Since we are required by insurance companies to verify your insurance, please bring your insurance card with you so that we may make a copy for our files.
