Dr. Handley graduated from Baylor University in Waco in 1988, and then attended the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston where she received her doctor of medicine. While at medical school, she was named to the Sigma Xi Honorary Society of Research Scientists. She completed her residency training at Children's Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Handley is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Handley joined The Children's Clinic staff in 2001. She and her husband, Dr. David Handley, have three children.
