Angelina Pediatrics’ medical providers and staff were on hand at the 7th annual Back to School Bonanza hosted by the Junior League of Lufkin at the Pitser Garrison Convention Center in August.
Angelina Pediatrics featured a photo booth for parents to take pictures of their children with Doc McStuffins. The staff also passed out back to school flyers with helpful health and safety tips for students, and they gave away more than 1500 pencils. “We were thrilled to be a part of this back to school event and to help in getting students prepared for the school year,” said Robyn DeVore, pediatric nurse practitioner at Angelina Pediatrics. “We joined with our community partners to make sure that every child had the resources needed to start the school year out right,” added Robyn. The event was open to Angelina County school aged children (Pre-K through 12th grade) who were also given free backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, school uniforms, and shoes.
