The Children’s Clinic of Rusk celebrated the joining of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce with a commemorative ribbon cutting in March. Opening in December of 2018, the pediatric clinic offers comprehensive healthcare for children from birth until 21 years of age. The medical providers’ team is headed by pediatric nurse practitioner, Jami Hicks who works in partnership with pediatricians and co-owners, Dr. George Fidone and Dr. Jeff Glass of Lufkin. The clinic services patients from the communities of Rusk, Jacksonville, Alto, Palestine and surrounding areas. Along with support from pediatricians, the clinic also has access to nationally ranked pediatric hospitals and specialists.
